Printing tips
Paper: Hot-press watercolor paper is smoother, and the details on the mermaids’ hands and faces present better on it. Cold-press watercolor paper also works well, and gives you more texture.
Ink: Use pigment ink or a laser printer, not dye ink. Dye ink can smudge or run, especially if you add a light wash.
Test first: Print one test page first, so you can check your paper, ink, and settings before printing more.
Thick paper: Use your printer’s manual feed for thicker paper, such as watercolor paper.
Note that some pages are landscape — just turn your paper, or set your printer to landscape, for those pages.
Collect both volumes
Volume I and Volume II are completely different mermaids — no designs repeat. Collect both volumes for all 24 designs in Mermaids Galore.
